Early Closings

*** The NYSE and NASDAQ will close trading early (at 1:00 PM ET) on Friday, November 27, 2009 (the day after Thanksgiving) and Thursday, December 24, 2009. Amex will end trading (1) for those products that normally cease trading at 4:00 P.M. at 1:00 P.M. and (2) for those products that normally cease trading at 4:15 P.M. at 1:15 P.M. The AMEX will start accepting orders for after-hours trading at 1:15 P.M. and all eligible orders will be executed by 1:30 P.M.

There will be no daytime trading (open outcry or electronic) or evening electronic trading on Thursday, Jan.1. Trading for business date 1/2/09 will begin with the morning opening times under Friday, Jan. 2. On Jan. 2, wheat futures open outcry and electronic will have regular trading hours (pre-open begins at 6:00 a.m.; trading from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.). Wheat options and Value Line will also have regular trading hours.

On Friday, Nov. 27, wheat futures will close at 12:00 noon and wheat options will close at 12:10 p.m. In coordination with U.S. Stock Exchanges, the KCBT's Value Line® will trade normal hours on Friday. Electronic trading will be in session the evening of Sunday, Nov. 29 for trade date Nov. 30.

On Thursday, Dec. 24, wheat futures will close at 12:00 noon and wheat options will close at 12:10 p.m. In coordination with U.S. Stock Exchanges, the Value Line will trade normal daytime hours unless otherwise announced. No electronic trading will occur the evening of Thursday, Dec. 24. There will be no daytime trading on Friday, Dec. 25. Electronic trading will resume the evening of Dec. 27 for trade date Dec. 28.
